2. Keep Evergreen Jobs Fresh

For your positions that are continuously open (evergreen jobs), those postings must stay fresh. Regularly update and refresh the job information to keep it appealing and visible. Closing and reopening the same listing without changes will make it less attractive to both Indeed's Algorithms and job seekers.

3. Use Precise Locations

Avoid using "marketing locations," instead, list the exact street address of the job. Indeed automatically matches jobs to larger nearby cities to help increase views. Accurate location details will help job seekers trust your postings and find jobs that fit their needs.

4. Optimize Remote Job Postings

When hiring for remote positions, be sure to include "remote" in the job title. Clearly state if the job can be done from anywhere or if it requires proximity to a specific location. This will ensure you're only attracting the right candidates.

5. Include Salary Information

Salary transparency is crucial. 83% of applicants will not apply if pay is not included. Indeed will also generate an estimated salary range if one is not provided, for example; they could post a salary range of $90k-$110k for a marketing manager, yet your allocated budget is closer to the $130k range... many qualified people will not apply because they see this lower range, and vice-versa! They could put a higher range than you currently have budget for and you'll be wasting yours and candidates time if you end up offering lower than they originally thought. Be straight up about salary right from the start!! Also know, that job listings without salary information put in by the employer, won't appear as frequently in search results.
